Ghana women qualifies for 2026 African Nations Volleyball Championship

Ghana are through to the 2026 Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) women championship after winning the Zone III qualifiers on Saturday.

The Black Queens, were in dominant form at the  championship held in Cote d'ivoire.

Ghana beat Togo 3-0 in the grand finale to qualify for the African championship to be held in Kenya next month.

The Black Queens produced set scores of
25–18, 25–13 and 25–09 to book their place at the upcoming African tournament.

This was a dominant performance from the Black Queens as Ghana secured a straight-sets victory over Togo to complete the campaign in Cote d'ivoire in style.

With this victory, Ghana officially qualifies for the 2026 CAVB Women’s African Nations Cup, scheduled to take place in August in Kenya.
