The Board and management of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have declared Sunday as a 'Red Day' ahead of their Ghana Premier League (GPL) Matchday Two fixture.
The Porcupines will host Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi in their second league game of the season.
And as they play on home turf for the first time this campaign, chieftains at the club are hoping to see many of their fans turn up at the venue to support the team to victory.
They have therefore declared Sunday as a Red Day for all their fans to show up in their traditional Asante Kotoko home colours of red to cheer on the team as they look for the three points.
Fans that will show up at the Baba Yara Stadium in their red colours, will have free access to watch the game from the Popular Stand.
Tickets will only be sold for a seat at the VIP Stand of the stadium as Kotoko welcomes Heart of Lions to the Garden City of Ghana.
This measure by the management of Asante Kotoko, is aimed at encouraging a huge turn up at the stadium as they host a side that has been very difficult to breakdown by Asante Kotoko on home soil in recent times.
Asante Kotoko will look to win their first home game of the season on Sunday as they aim to win a record extending 25th GPL title.
They drew their opening game of the campaign away to newly promoted Debibi United at Berekum last Sunday.
Coach Eric Tinkler and his charges will hope to take full advantage of the home conditions going into this encounter.
