Will Medeama SC and Bibiani Gold Stars swap places after Sunday's GPL matches?

Medeama SC currently lead the Ghana Premier League (GPL) table  by a point from second placed and reigning champions Bibiani Gold Stars.

The Mauve and Yellow, have 46 points from the 25 matches they have played with Gold Stars on 45 going into Sunday's matches in the league.

There could be a swap in positions after Sunday's games involving both clubs as they face interesting fixtures.

Medeama SC will be away to Dreams FC at Kasoa in a potential banana peel encounter with the hosts having had the better of the exchanges with Medeama SC on their last five visits to the home of Dreams FC.

Gold Stars will be home to Vision FC at Bibiani, a venue they have been very formidable since they joined the Ghanaian top-flight.

Medeama SC have not won in their last five matches in the GPL and, have seen their once healthy lead in the competition tickle down to just one point.

They face a very difficult assignment at the Tuba Astro Turf, Kasoa on Sunday against Dreams FC who will look to make the most of the home conditions.

A draw or defeat for Medeama SC, could see Gold Stars jump to the summit of the league table if they win their home game against Vision FC.

Dreams FC will surely make things difficult for visiting Medeama SC whose confidence is low at the moment.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko will need to guide his Medeama side to a win to maintain their status at the top of the stairs in the league after Sunday's games.

Gold Stars will fancy their chances of winning at home against Vision FC and, they will look for it in front of their home fans.
