Volleyball thrills this weekend as two unbeaten teams clash in a blockbuster
Only two unbeaten teams remain standing in the Women’s division in the Greater Accra volleyball league.
The two sides will face off in a blockbuster encounter on Saturday as the season heats up.
Ghana Army will play Kalibi Volleyball Club (VC) at the Kawukudi volleyball court on
Saturday at 8:00am.
Something has to give, one perfect record will survive and one unbeaten run will come to an end.
We wait to see whether the disciplined soldiers of the Ghana Army will continue their march, or Kalibi VC defend their territory and remain untouchable.
The beginning of what promises to be a thrilling volleyball weekend, starts on Friday at the Prisons Complex, Cantonments, Accra.
Prisons VC will host Air Force in men and women action starting at 1:00pm.
On Saturday, Police VC will welcome the University of Ghana team in male and female action at the Amandi Police Depot at 8:00am.
Also on Saturday, La Pioneers will play Osu Youth in a male encounter at 2:00pm at the El-Wak Stadium.
El-Wak United will play Air Force in male and female action at the El-Wak Stadium at 1:00pm.
On Sunday,
Ghana Prisons will travel to Legon to face the Book Longs of the University of Ghana in another crucial encounter starting at 1:00pm.
Ghana Immigration will face Kalibi VC at the Kawukudi volleyball court at 8:00am in the men and ladies category.
Fire Service will host El-Wak Wings at the Accra Sports Stadium in both sexes at 1:00pm.
Also at 1:00pm at the Kawukudi volleyball court, Kasland will host Navy Girls.
Ghana Army will play IPC at Burma Camp at 2:00pm in the men category.
El-Wak United will host TCL men at the El-Wak Stadium at 2:00pm.
