Ghanaian boxing referee Roger Barnor to officiate WABA's supreme world female title in August

WABA HAS APPOINTED A GHANAIAN REFEREE FOR THE WABA SUPREME WORLD FEMALE TITLE AT THE SEA ROBINSON CELEBRATIONS

World Alliance Boxing Association (WABA) has appointed renowned Ghanaian referee, Roger Barnor, to serve as the third official in the ring for the Sea Robinson Celebrations' Mega WABA Supreme World Female Super Bantamweight Championship.

The upcoming showpiece, will feature Ugandan Salimat Tibesigwa competing against Nigerian Latifat Morohundiya.

This championship is scheduled to take place in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, on August 22, 2026, under the oversight of the Chief Supervisor and President of WABA, Ky Col Onesmo Alfred McBride Ngowi.

Furthermore, WABA will conduct training for Ivorian boxing referees and judges two days before the tournament in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

The promoter of this eagerly awaited event is Yacouba Balbonnet from JB Team Promotions, located in the USA, and several other boxers are expected to participate in supporting bouts.
