The Ghana Taekwondo Federation will elect new officers to run the sport on Saturday.
They will serve for the next four years, hoping to take the discipline in Ghana to new heights.
The election will come off at the Media Center of the Accra Sports Stadium starting at 10:00am.
This follows the successful conclusion of the regional elections across the country.
Incumbent president Fredrick Lartey Otu, is seeking re-election, and he is the frontrunner to emerge victorious.
Mr. Otu, as president of the GTF, has built a strong reputation through his unwavering commitment to the development of Taekwondo in Ghana.
In addition as president of the GTF, Mr. Otu is also second vice president of the Ghana Olympic Committee, a Council member of the African Taekwondo Union and a first class international referee.
Mr. Otu, is heading into this election with other trusted generals with Maxwell Theodore Alornyo going for the vice president position; Kankpenuba Peter Nuntaa Wisdom and Simon Koku Gluikpor, are competing for executive member positions.
Team Otu believes its record of achievements, places them in a good position to win the elections.
