Black Stars centre-back Joseph Aidoo has donated football boots to players of Nations FC and pledged a further $2,000 winning bonus to the squad ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round clash against FC Diarra of Mali on Saturday.
Nations FC will play the Malians in a preliminary round first leg tie in Bamako this weekend.
Aidoo, visited the team alongside former Asante Kotoko forward Maxwell Baako, Prosper Kasim, and football agent George Diabene at the teams camp before they headed to Bamako for the game.
During the visit, the experienced defender shared valuable insights from his career, and encouraged the players to believe in themselves, charging them to represent Ghana with pride and determination in Saturday's encounter.
The President of Nations FC, on behalf of the playing squad and management, expressed appreciation to Joseph Aidoo and his friends for their remarkable gesture and show of support to the team.
Nations FC will look to return to Ghana with a good result as they face FC Diarra on Saturday.
That will help make the return fixture a less difficult assignment in Ghana next weekend.
