Easter Fest games this weekend in the Ghana Premier League as Asante Kotoko host FC Samartex Monday
It should be a fabulous Easter Monday in Kumasi
Second placed side in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) Medeama SC will host the bottom club Eleven Wonders in the competition on Friday.
This Matchday 27 fixture will be played at the TnA Stadium, Tarkwa with the home side favourites to collect the three points.
Medeama SC are winless in their last six matches in the GPL and, have seen their once healthy lead on top of the stairs whittled down.
The Mauve and Yellow are now second on the log, two points behind reigning champions Bibiani Gold Stars with eight matches to end the campaign.
Playing at home to Eleven Wonders, presents them with an opportunity to get their season back on track as they seek a second GPL title.
Eleven Wonders are bottom on the table with just 10 points from the 26 matches they have played, and look doom for relegation.
Medeama SC will fancy their chances of getting back to winning ways as they look to keep pressure on Gold Stars at the top.
A win in this afternoon's encounter, will take them to the top of the stairs ahead of the rest of the Matchday 27 fixtures to be played on Saturday and Sunday.
And, they will remain there going into the next round of matches if Gold Stars drop points in their game at Tamale against Karela United.
