Easter Fest games this weekend in the Ghana Premier League as Asante Kotoko host FC Samartex Monday

It should be a fabulous Easter Monday in Kumasi

There are some huge matches coming up in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) this Easter weekend as the competition continues with the Matchday 28 fixtures.

The biggest of this Easter fest games will be played on Monday when Asante Kotoko host FC Samartex 1996 at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi.

The Porcupines will go into this fixture seeking their first win in three matches.

Bottom side Eleven Wonders will engage Hohoe United in a relegation battle at the Swedru Sports Stadium on Friday.

On Saturday, leaders Medeama SC will have their title ambitions tested to the core when they visit the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park to play local side Bechem United.

Six matches will be played on Sunday with reigning champions Gold Stars at home to Nations FC at the Dun's Park, Bibiani.

Basake Holy Stars will look to stay further clear out of trouble when they host Karela United at the Ampian AAK II Sports Arena, Azulewanu.

Heart of Lions will be return to the Volta region in a home game against Vision FC at the Kpando Sports Stadium.

All Blacks will look to ease some of their relegation worries when they host Dreams FC at the Swedru Sports Stadium.

Accra Hearts of Oak will host Young Apostles at the Accra Sports Stadium as they seek to keep their title hopes alive.

Berekum Chelsea will welcome Aduana FC to the Golden City Park, Berekum where they will look for the three points to get out of the relegation zone.
