CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe joined government Ministers and football federation leaders from Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda in Nairobi on Monday for the historic signing of the Joint Resolution for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) PAMOJA 2027.

This landmark meeting underscores a shared commitment to delivering a world-class continental tournament next year.

Discussions centered on

infrastructure development,  ensuring that stadiums and training facilities meet elite international standards.

Regional Synergy: Streamlining logistics and travel between the three host nations to ensure a seamless fan experience.

Legacy Building: Leveraging the "PAMOJA" (Together) spirit to accelerate football growth and economic investment across East Africa.

Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda will co-host the tournament for the first time.

The qualifying matches will start across the continent in September after the FIFA World Cup takes place in the United States, Mexico and Canada in June and July.
