Record Ghana champions Asante Kotoko have some crucial matches coming up when the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League (GPL) kicks off in September.
The fixtures for the upcoming campaign were released on Thursday with Kotoko away in their opening game of the season.
Their opening five GPL fixtures will see the Porcupines play two away matches and three home games.
In their opening game of the season, Asante Kotoko will be away to Debibi United in what looks a tricky venture for the Garden City club.
After that engagement, Asante Kotoko will play their first home game of the campaign when they host Heart of Lions.
The Porcupines will be away to FC Samartex 1996 in another tough duel in their third game of the competition.
They will then play successive home games to complete their opening five games of the season.
The first will be against tough opponents Aduana FC on match-day-four before playing
Karela United also at home.
Coach Eric Tinkler and his charges will look to maximize as many points as possible in these opening five games before thinking about the rest of the competition as they aim to win the diadem at the end of the season.
