Medeama SC defender Fatawu Sulemana said they are well prepared for their CAF Champions League game with TP Mazembe this weekend.
The Ghana champions, will host the DR Congo giants on Sunday in a first leg preliminary round tie as the competition gets underway this weekend across the continent.
And, Fatawu Sulemana is felling confident of a win as the former African champions visits Tarkwa.
The game will be played at the TnA Stadium with Medeama SC looking for a good result to take into the return fixture in DR Congo next weekend.
Sulemana who plays as a left-back for the Mauve and Yellow, will hope to be in the matchday squad for the game on Sunday.
"We have been preparing very well for this game since the fixture was announced, and I can tell you that we are ready for this game," Sulemana told the club's media.
The 2025-26 Ghana champions, have been preparing for this game with all seriousness as they took their pre-season camp to Cote D'Ivoire.
Upon their return to Ghana, Medeama SC competed in the GHALCA Top 4 pre-season tournament where they finished second.
Last Sunday, they won the Champion of Champions trophy, and, it is this form that they will carry into this game against TP Mazembe.
Sulemana is hopeful of a win on Sunday, and, he called on fans in Tarkwa to show up in their numbers at the TnA Stadium to support them to success.
That 12-man role would be required from their supporters to carry Medeama SC across the line as they face a very difficult opponent in African club football.
