Former WBO Global Bantamweight Champion, Wasiru Mohammed aka 'Gyata Bi' - son of the lion has signed a co-management and promotions deal with Bishop Boxing Promotions.
The Ghanaian pugilist with a fight record of 15-1, has taken this new direction with the hope of rising to the very top of the sport.
Wasiru's only loose came against Kaine Fourie of South Africa at featherweight, but, the Ghanaian has moved up to the Super Featherweight division where he hopes to call the shots.
Wasiru is now under the capable hands of John Marfo, co-manager with Dave Bishop of Bishop Boxing Promotions.
He will still train under Coach Larteykwei Lartey and the technical team at Fit Square Gym in Accra.
