Top African talents will converge in Accra for some tough athletics competition in May
Seidu Mammoudu Baba of the Ghana Armed Forces stormed to a new national record after winning the 400m hurdles in Cape Coast last Saturday.
The serviceman, clocked 49.45s in the men’s 400m hurdles at the Cape Coast Open Championships in Cape Coast.
This was a sensational run over the barriers as Baba showed early season form ahead of the year ahead.
He will look to build on this performance going forward with more competitions ahead.
This stunning performance early in the 2026 season for Baba, can only mean good fortunes coming as he seeks to take his talent to the international level.
