We won't disappoint Aduana FC's supporters on Sunday - Seidu Saana

Aduana FC midfielder Seidu Saana said they will not disappoint their fans in their league game on Sunday.

The Fire Lads will welcome Asante Kotoko to Dormaa-Ahenkroh in a Ghana Premier League (GPL) game to be played at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park.

And, Saana is relishing the prospect of hosting the GPL giants in front of their home fans.

"I understand what it means to wear this badge and what the game means to the club," Saana told Aduana FC media ahead of this afternoon's encounter.

He added: “We are fully focused and motivated for the challenge ahead.”

“We need our supporters at the stadium and we won't disappoint.”

Aduana FC will go into this game on the back of a strong showing against Kotoko this season after picking a point in the reverse fixture played at Kumasi during the first round of the campaign.

The Fire Lads, also kicked out Kotoko out of the MTN FA Cup in Kumasi, a competition the Porcupines won last season.

The home side will therefore go into this fixture as favourites to collect the three points against a Kotoko side that have been very inconsistent in their results lately.

A win for Aduana FC will take them to 44 points, and they can end the weekend in third position if other results play in their favour.

There will be just seven matches to end the season after Sunday's games in the GPL, and Aduana FC are in the running to win the competition.
